Hewlett-Packard (Canada) and CipherSoft Sign Agreement

CipherSoft Inc., a leader in conversion tools and services, announced today it has signed a worldwide systems integration and software distribution agreement with Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Co., an acknowledged leader in the open-source community. Under terms of the agreement, CipherSoft will provide its Exodus migration software and training to HP's services professionals, in preparation for a worldwide rollout to assist HP's Oracle OpenVMS customers.  The licensing agreement allows HP to resell the Exodus product to its clients in a packaged form or provide it under a service agreement.

Exodus , CipherSoft's state-of-the-art migration tool, automates the migration of Oracle Forms and PL/SQL to Java.  In addition, the product automatically converts Oracle Libraries and Triggers into the Java environment. The converted application is fully maintainable, portable, contains no wrappers and all semantic contents are converted providing flexible deployment and very little impact on business operations.
