Frank Verardi

Vice President of Sales

Frank Verardi is a seasoned business executive with extensive experience in software sales and services. He is a Vice President of Sales for Unify Corp., which acquired CipherSoft in January 2009. In his more 20 years with Unify, he has served in several executive leadership roles leveraging his Information Technology expertise in application modernization, application development, data management and consulting and implementation services. Mr. Verardi leads the CipherSoft Modernization business including sales, professional services and support as well as Americas, Asia Pacific and Russia sales for Unify’s Development and Data Management business. From May 2005 to April 2007, Mr. Verardi served as vice president and general manager of Unify Business Solutions, where he oversaw the sales and marketing for the Company’s technology products. From June 2003 to April 2005, he served as vice president of technical services, and from May 2001 to May 2003, he served as vice president of worldwide sales and marketing. Prior to these positions, Mr. Verardi served in various management positions, including vice president of worldwide professional services, vice president of worldwide product delivery and customer support, and director of client services. Before joining Unify, Mr. Verardi held various positions with Computer Sciences Corporation, including director of commercial professional services. Mr. Verardi received a B.S. degree in computer science from California State University, Chico.

Khalid Baig

Client Support Manager

Khalid Baig has over 20 years experience in the information technology industry. He has managed IT project life cycles including planning, designing, customer support, testing, and operations. Khalid has managed programmers and projects of varying sizes, and has worked with mainframes to mini-computers to open systems.

Mr. Baig’s technical expertise and knowledge of software spans across multiple databases (Oracle, MS-SQL Server, DB2), developer tools (Visual Basic, FoxPro, Oracle Developer 2000, PowerBuilder), programming languages (C, C++, Java, COBOL, FoxPro, Oracle PL/SQL, XML, HTML, Oracle JDeveloper), Application/Web Servers (WebLogic, Oracle 9ias, Apache, Tomcat, Voyager, Orion and WebSphere) and Operating Systems (Unix, Windows 2000).

George Berlak

Director of Product Development - Exodus

George Berlak has extensive experience in software product design, development, deployment, maintenance, and life cycle management using leading edge object oriented software engineering technologies. He is currently the product manager of the Exodus group of products, and has extensive knowledge of the Java community.

Mr. Berlak's qualifications include: Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD), Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP), Sun Certified Enterprise Architect (CX-310-051), IBM Certified e-Business Professional (Solution Designer), IBM Certified Database Associate, M.Sc. in Information Technology, broad knowledge of the Java API, including but not limited to JMS, EJB, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, J2EE as well as strong knowledge of design patterns, software development best practices and refactoring methodologies.
