Unify Corp. (NASDAQ: UNFY), a global provider of application development, data management and migration solutions, today announced it has signed a reseller agreement with FreeSoft to accelerate growth for its Oracle Forms migration practice in Australia and New Zealand. Following its January 2009 acquisition of CipherSoft Inc., a leading Oracle partner for modernization and migration of Forms applications, Unify began to expand its partner channel in key regions. CipherSoft and FreeSoft are recognized leaders in the Australian market for delivering legacy Oracle application upgrades and conversions. The partnership will give organizations access to migration expertise and proven conversion technology for cost-effectively moving Oracle Forms applications to a new version or to the Java/J2EE environment.
The partnership agreement provides Unify with an experienced application migration partner in the region. FreeSoft will be able to extend its migration practice to include Oracle Forms to Oracle 10g or Java /J2EE conversions by reselling Unify’s Exodus solution. FreeSoft is a worldwide provider of legacy application modernization technology and services. Through its Asia-Pacific headquarters based in Sydney, Australia, FreeSoft delivers a series of conversion technologies, project methodologies and processes that cost-effectively transform legacy systems into modern IT environments and new architectures.
